00:00Welcome to Hindu temple Dubai and it's very important to thank the rulers of
00:07UAE and Dubai for giving us an opportunity to have the temple here and
00:12I would like to share and walk you through the different areas of the
00:17temple to get familiarized with to make sure that you know mainly the architect
00:23part. Basically to start with you can see the plot is in a rectangle shape and the
00:29entrance is tilted like it's you know it's in an angle it means that as per
00:35the Vastu Shastra all the temples should be facing towards the east so that is
00:40the reason we have focused to make sure that we go lot of efforts have been put
00:46in to make sure that we respect whatever the temple should have at the same time
00:52taking and considering that we should respect the regulations of each from the
00:57entrance what you can see this is the main entrance we have a side entrance
01:02which is through the ramp one thing what I would like to share is the total
01:07building is accessible we want to make sure that all the aged or elderly people
01:13and the PODs can access through the side once we enter through the temple we have
01:20these three doors which gets into the community hall where we shall walk
01:25through again and we have two side entrances one on the right side one on
01:30the left side to the worship area one important thing what you will observe
01:35here is the Sri Yantra which is being fixed as an architectural point of view
01:42which is not limiting only to the Hinduism globally it is a geometrical
01:48representation which is followed with different religions also and also has an
01:53Arabic touch to it so we have ensured that the Sri Yantra is common which can
01:59be appreciated with all the communities of different nationalities or different
02:06religion we have two sides one is we have the lift as well as the staircase
02:12and also on the other side also we have the same lift as well as the staircase
02:20to go up in this area we have the shoe racks I can politely say shoe management
02:27where they will be organizing there is an entry point on one side and delivery
02:34point on the other side so that they can come in give their shoes and then go to
02:40the temple and later collect it from the other side all the activities whatever
02:46happens in the community hall is general it's not that it is mandatory that they
02:52have to take off the footwear unless otherwise depending on the nature of the
02:57activity what is happening inside the community hall we have a clear hand and
03:04leg wash area so that people would like to get them ready for themselves to
03:10prepare to go to the temple here we have one male and another female toilet
03:17one important thing what I would like to mention here is we have considered that
03:22normally the POD toilets in most of the malls are inside the male toilet or the
03:28female toilet where it becomes little embarrassing for the grown-up POD to get
03:34inside we have a dedicated toilet outside so that it is more convenient
03:39for them then we shall get into the community hall from the front side so
03:44that I'll be able to explain to you about the community hall how it can be
03:49used and how many numbers can be inside the community hall at a given point of
03:55time well welcome to the community hall in fact this community hall is very well
04:04designed with roughly around 4,500 square feet area which can take about
04:11200 people in the round table sitting format if it is a theater style we can
04:18accommodate easily around 300 to 350 individuals then if it is on the floor
04:25we can easily take almost 450 to 500 we allow all our community members to have
04:35their marriage functions or birthday parties or satsangs or kirtans various
04:41types of activities one good news is if the size of the party is small then we
04:49can bifurcate the hall into two portions which can take about 100 150 each where
04:55we have a separators which is totally soundproof where each of the party
05:03happening in two breakout rooms will not get disturbed the entire facility
05:09including the hall and the temple area worship area is connected with speakers
05:16where we can segregate zone wise few if at all if we need to operate only in the
05:22hall we can do so otherwise we can go to the different areas also or a public
05:27announcement can be done for the entire temple on a need basis then we will walk
05:33into the knowledge room what I was mentioning to you knowledge room is
05:41something unique where as we respect all the religions and different nationalities
05:48what we would like to do here is to make sure that we learn the good
05:53practices whatever is being practiced in different religions so not limiting to
05:58only Hinduism we will be we are already discovering discussing with Islamic
06:04Center is Smiley Center and all of our neighboring churches we had invited all
06:10the local churches to be present here most of the fathers were present here
06:16and we have explained to them what we are doing and here we shall be having
06:20Mr. Herman here in fact it is under the preparation we shall be having an
06:26interactive screen where the younger generations using their iPads or mobile
06:31phones or anything they will be basically the focus is to make sure that we educate
06:38our younger generation with culture not only younger generation all generations
06:43so that you know whatever is a good learning can be learned by each and
06:49everyone irrespective of whatever religion it is the main idea is to do
06:54that we shall be having physical activities here as well as online
06:59activities here and also on the hybrid platform we shall be discussing with all
07:04the community different organizations to be part of it to share the knowledge and
07:10experience of whatever is good practices which can be followed let's
07:15walk through the industrial kitchen what we have for the temple for preparing the
07:21prasad
07:28these are the two stores dry stores where we shall be keeping the spices and
07:34the grains then we come in here to the kitchen which is an industrial kitchen
07:40designed to cater to at least 500 people so that most of the activities
07:45whatever happens within the temple and for the staff will be cooked here and
07:51also the requirements of the parties once we start in January we may think of
08:00having we shall be giving options also to them and all those minute details
08:05will be shared as we progress when we start our activity from 14th of January
08:11onwards once when we start offering these facilities to them this is the I
08:17would say waste management area this is a service lift and we have a service
08:23staircase and a separate back entrance to the kitchen so that the entire
08:28facility doesn't get disturbed for the incoming goods of the kitchen as well as
08:33whatever the waste management has to be happened one unique thing with this
08:37temple in the ground floor is the entire temple can be taken around without any
08:44problem because we have the facility the compound we have at least three to five
08:49feet which covers the entire area well now we will go to the worship area I
08:54think if you recollect what mr. Raju was mentioning about the QR code
08:58registration for visiting the temple so that you know they can start registering
09:04from September onwards and October 4th or 5th will be the date of opening so
09:12that they can register their own selves as a group the registration is made very
09:19simple just by one family member registering using their email ID and
09:24mobile number and they can go up to a pack of six while the registering if it
09:29is more they can do it accordingly in different batches when they come the
09:35security or the volunteers will be having the QR code reader based on the
09:41scheduled time they will be happy to visit the temple at the time whatever
09:47they are booked one thing we have to remember is that knowing the fact about
09:52the challenge of the parking we would request each and everyone to come in the
09:58public transport where they can get on in either even Bhutan mall metro station
10:03or the energy metro station where there will be shuttle buses from RTA which
10:09will be dropping them off in this complex we are exploring all possible
10:14ways to reach out to the departments to increase the number of frequency of
10:19buses not only for shuttling between those two metro stations also to
10:24increase the number of buses coming in this area in addition to that we have
10:30requested festival plaza they were quite welcoming so that you know the parking
10:35whatever they have they will also be helping us to accommodate so that people
10:41who would like to come to the temple can park their car in the festival plaza and
10:47then we are exploring to discuss with them to have shuttle buses of festival
10:52plaza to run between the festival plaza and the temple we're exploring this I'm
10:57sure we will keep communicating and updating as we progress to make sure
11:02that we have a comfortable visit for each and everyone who come here this
11:08should become a happiness center they should come be happy go happy with lot
11:14of peacefulness let's now walk to the first floor now we are on the first
11:19floor of the total complex this is the worship area as I mentioned to you in
11:26the ground floor there is a staircase and a lift a similar type of facility is
11:33available on the other side once you come up on the staircase or the lift lift
11:40we would prefer all the elderly people and the POD to use and many of them can
11:47come on the staircase this is the main entrance on one side to the temple now
11:54we have come to the floor area this is the main worship area in this worship
11:59area we shall be having all the deities this is where the unique thing is the
12:06Lotus which you all know that of all it is a peace it's a significance of peace
12:13as well as the entire building is with white as well as light colors to make
12:21sure that the beauty as well as the clarity of each area is taken care and
12:29there is a peaceful carriage of message by every individuals these are the
12:36marbles what has been come from India Jaipur especially from Makarana there
12:45are more than 20 workers who have come from Makarana to do the installations
12:51each and every carvings were done there when they were brought here they are
12:58refining it polishing it and ensuring that it is aligned in the way it should
13:03be so this is the area where we shall be having all the deities in place right
13:11side is Guru room Guru Grantha will be kept inside the room then it's almost
13:17getting ready maybe couple of another weeks once if it is ready it will take
13:24its complete form so that it can be presentable this is the Guru room then
13:31we just move on towards the other side
13:37as I mentioned to you earlier that all this has been done very neatly and with
13:46lot of focus on the carvings and it has been done a lot of exercise in matching
13:53with different pieces to make sure that as far as possible that the designs are
14:00aligned the way it should be
14:09very important for you to notice the different symbols which are in each
14:14pillar is the Lotus then you have a door then you have a bell all these
14:21signifies towards the temple so that you know each and every area is
14:26taken care in such a way that there are symbols which are representing in the
14:32side this is the place where we shall be having Navagraha which are the nine
14:39different murtis which will be representing the planets which will be
14:43kept on the Navagraha platform then we have a service lift which comes from
14:52this side which you saw in the kitchen there is a staircase as well as the
14:56service lift now if you come to this area this is the Havan area where about
15:03roughly 50 to 60 people can sit here at the same time different type of Havans
15:09can be conducted here then when we walk through we shall be having another place
15:18over there where we shall be keeping the plant of Tulasi where it is under
15:25preparation once the final cleaning is done they'll be keeping the pedestal of
15:34Tulasi
15:40this is the place where we shall have Tulasi which you can observe now our
15:47neighbors we have almost six churches here on either side there again that is
15:54the reason I was requesting in the beginning most of our community people
16:00to make sure that they come in the public transport to avoid because
16:05Saturdays and Sundays there has been a huge number of people coming together
16:11here as we respect the faith common faith we should have a common approach
16:17in such a way that we all understand and collaborate and cooperate in such a way
16:22that we all will have to be happy without any confusions now we are come
16:30on come on the roof where all the Kalashas are kept and Kalasha Pratisthapana
16:36was already done now we are almost under the completion of the temple I think as
16:41Mr. Raju said we shall be opening the temple for people to come on 5th of
16:46October all the worshippers all the individuals of any religion any
16:53nationality are welcome to come up to come to our premises to take the maximum
16:59benefit and the blessings and they can have a good peaceful stay here thank you
17:05very much for being with us Namaskar
