00:00Video call fatigue is real, especially if you're tired of the endless online meetings.
00:10There are ways you can address this feeling of burnout and exhaustion.
00:14So here are eight tips you can follow to stay focused throughout your day.
00:19Chat with someone about something other than work.
00:23Build time into your day for casual chat.
00:25It may be an online lunch, something unrelated to work.
00:30This helps break the monotony and association of screens without burnout.
00:35Follow the 20-20-20 rule.
00:38This 20-20-20 rule is rather simple.
00:41For every 20 minutes of looking at a screen, you can look away at a distance of 20 meters
00:46for 20 seconds to limit eye strain.
00:49That's a tip from the Fight for Sight charity.
00:53Get up before and after the meeting.
00:55Before and after a meeting, get up from your desk, move around a bit to mimic the walking
00:59to and from meetings.
01:02Compartmentalize.
01:04Have distinct spaces.
01:05If the dining table is used as a work desk, move work items out of sight at the end of

01:43Try to build one no-meeting day into your work week.
01:47And finally, exercise.
01:49It's a natural mood booster.
01:51Also, increase the time you spend outdoors.
01:54This helps us feel more connected with each other, even while maintaining social distancing,
01:59by exchanging pleasantries or even just smiles behind the mask, which can increase your well-being.
