00:00All right, let's talk about Torrey Pines. I played that south course 25 times. I just saw that 90 every time I got on that 90 box. It looks so inviting, like a hooker. Like I look at it. I'm like, Oh, look at this big, beautiful fairway. Oh, this is I'm just gonna jack this ball out here about 290. And I am just gonna go par this all maybe birdie. And then every time I go right, and I'm in trouble. I'm behind trees.
00:29Bunkers, thick, angle, deep, rough. I have never wanted that fairway in my life. It's the worst nightmare tee shot of my life. That's south nine.
00:39You just don't want to bounce it off those condos down the businesses down the left. Is that what you're guarding against? Because that's what that's the only thing that's over there.
00:49Right. I go right every time. So what do you think of this course was absolutely douche. It was so wet from yesterday and last night that we were seeing the same thing again today. The sun's out in some spots. It's cloudy and others, but it's dank, wet and the scores just aren't there.
01:11No, I mean, in the you know, I was telling someone earlier today, I said, you know, they were just here two weeks ago and they were in short sleeves and, you know, they were lighting the place up pretty much or whatever. But when you get this course damp, like you said, they had an inch of rain. And since last week, they let the rough grow. So now the ball's really taking a dive when it goes in there and put that on top of the fact, as you know, from living there, the ball goes absolutely nowhere.
01:39I mean, listen, you listen to these guys in these interviews and they go, I smash this club and it just it didn't even go anywhere. Well, you know, from living there, the ocean and all that going on, it's not going to go anywhere. So basically, this is sort of a mini U.S. Open going on.
01:54I'll tell you what. Overdose playing great today. Five under today. I think through 14, he's got it going. Rory's got it going. Thompson's got it going. All of those guys four under for the day.
02:09Yeah, I mean, you know, a little note on Rory, which you may or may not heard, and I heard this the other day and I was really surprised that I didn't realize that he I don't know, he's never won back to back events on the PGA Tour in all his what, 14 year, however many years he's been out there. He's never gone consecutively.
02:31Yeah, right. What did he just won? Like, you know, the Pebble Beach. So, I mean, and then you had a bird. He was hashing on the course a couple of weeks ago. And it actually was this course, I think. So now he's back. I mean, this is a good course for him. I can tell you. And it's obviously good for Shuffler. Shuffler is short game wizard. The places he has gotten up and down from today.
02:55That's what's really going to do it in the end at this place, because they're not going to hit all the fairways. They're not going to hit all the greens. These things, you got to get it up and down to survive. And that's, you know, your best short game guys are going to be the ones in the end.
03:08I actually and I got 30 seconds. I like watching Shuffler lose. I'm not a fan. I want other guys to beat him. I don't want him to win every week.
03:16No, I mean, I'm with you. I mean, I like him as a person and I'm very good friends with his caddy. But you're right. It gets old. It's it's it's it's you know, you need some we need some fresh stuff here to get up there and start bumping him around a little bit instead of himself doing it in the kitchen with a knife and giving them a glass or whatever he did and giving these guys a break when he doesn't show up.
