00:00The Senatorial Slate of the Alliance for a New Philippines
00:04laid out some of the solutions they see for the challenges the country is facing.
00:09Among them, some of them are based on their experiences in serving the country.
00:15That's what Daniel Manalastas has to say.
00:19Each of their experiences as a Senator
00:22were brought by some members of the Alliance for a New Philippines.
00:26When they sued the people of Iloilo,
00:28they did their best to solve some of the problems in the country,
00:33such as the West Philippine Sea and other issues.
00:36The accomplishments of their service as a Senator were also appreciated.
00:41To lower the current, let's get rid of the 12% BAT.
00:51My throat hurts because of the BAT.
00:54I have a letter that I will give to President Marcos later,
00:59where we are asking for a West Philippine Sea Command
01:05to guard our seas.
01:08I am just a budot in the Senate.
01:12That's true.
01:14Your service is budot.
01:17The budot filed 2,000 lawsuits
01:22and passed 343 laws that we are currently in favor of.
01:30I submitted a lawsuit that has more than 900 laws.
01:38And I passed more than 100 laws.
01:44The problems in the work and salary were solved by some of the candidates
01:48under the Alliance.
01:50Some of the candidates are also known for their fight for trust.
01:54That's why they brought the promise to guard the people of the country
01:57no matter what.
01:59I am also fighting for universal, equal minimum wage.
02:08Manila, Iloilo, Ilocos.
02:12I will not be a watchdog in the country's budget.
02:17My track record will prove that I am always fighting
02:24especially in guarding and using our country's budget properly.
02:32Mothers, fathers,
02:35we are all the same.
02:37We only have one dream for our children.
02:41To live a good life, right?
02:43Strengthening small businesses and fighting illegal drugs
02:47are the goals of some of the candidates in the Senate.
02:51God willing, I will return to the Senate.
02:56I will ensure that there is a funding budget
03:01for the so-called Sustainable Livelihood Program
03:06for Filipinos so that we can strengthen small and medium enterprises.
03:10I will unite the Dangerous Drugs Board and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
03:16We will form the Presidential Drug Enforcement Authority
03:21where we will face the problems of prosecution,
03:26enforcement, prevention, and rehabilitation.
03:32Some of the candidates in the Senate want to care for their solo parents
03:37while others want to nurture their capable leaders.
03:41Your children will soon be supported by your ex-wife
03:47because we passed a law in Congress
03:51that if your ex-wife does not support you, she will be jailed.
03:55I am a mother and a millennial leader.
03:59I have worked in the private sector for more than 15 years.
04:06In the household sector, even my two terms as a congresswoman,
04:13I have experienced enough.
04:16Now, we will continue to focus on giving jobs.
04:21The track record and achievements in the local government
04:25are the advantage of some of the candidates in the Senate in the first instance.
04:302,000 families, 2,000 were forced into poverty.
04:36They are no longer quote-unquote squatters.
04:39Now, they are landowners.
04:41I think we need better services.
04:46First of all, for better healthcare,
04:49we can provide free medicine to senior citizens.
