प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश: तीर्थराज प्रयागराज में चल रहे विश्व के सबसे बड़े धार्मिक आयोजन महाकुंभ में रोजाना लाखों-करोड़ों की संख्या में श्रद्धालु पहुंच रहे हैं और गंगा, यमुना, सरस्वती के पवित्र संगम में आस्था की डुबकी लगा रहे हैं। अब तक 50 करोड़ से अधिक लोगों ने त्रिवेणी में पवित्र स्नान किया है। जाहिर है कि जब इतनी बड़ी तादाद में श्रद्धालु डुबकी लगाएंगे और गंगा पूजन करेंगे, तो नदी में गंदगी फैलना स्वाभाविक है। कुंभ मेला प्राधिकरण की तरफ से हजारों की संख्या में सफाई कर्मियों को कुंभ क्षेत्र में तैनात किया गया है, जो दिन-रात साफ-सफाई के कार्य में जुटे हुए हैं। लोगों में नदियों की स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने और गंगा-यमुना को निर्मल व अविरल बनाने के उद्देश्य से आज महाकुंभ में व्यापक स्तर पर सफाई अभियान चलाया गया। इस रिवर क्लीनिंग अभियान में 300 से अधिक सफाई कर्मियों ने हिस्सा लिया और नदी को साफ किया। कुंभ मेला प्राधिकरण के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इतनी बड़ी संख्या में एक साथ सफाई कर्मियों द्वारा नदी की सफाई करना एक विश्व रिकॉर्ड है। महाकुंभ में आज इस सफाई अभियान के जरिए रिवर क्लीनिंग का गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाया गया है।
