00:03One of them is a motorcycle rider who even counter-flowed to escape the authorities.

00:09Here is my report.

00:13In an attempt to avoid the traffic violator in EDSA,

00:16this motorist counter-flowed

00:18even above the northern boundary of St. Olan flyover.

00:21But he did not get away after being chased by the operatives of the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation or SAIC.

00:32He said that he did the wrong thing.

00:34That's why he was asked why he counter-flowed.

00:36It's not in the law, sir.

00:38That's why it's not allowed in the law.

00:40You know, sir, we Filipinos,

00:42if we can escape a problem sometimes,

00:44it's like that.

00:46The rider added that he was afraid to see the SAIC operatives.

00:50He was caught last December

00:52and paid P5,000.

00:54But because of what he did,

00:56aside from the P5,000 penalty,

00:58he will also be fined because of reckless driving

01:00and counter-flow to EDSA.

01:05Most of the motorcycle riders who were caught by SAIC

01:08are usually accused of

01:10only partially entering the EDSA busway.

01:14This ambulance was not rescued.

01:16Although there was a patient,

01:18it was not an emergency case.

01:20That's why it was stopped and the SAIC was still stopped.

01:22A reminder of SAIC,

01:24not all ambulances with a patient

01:26can pass through the busway.

01:28Only those with a serious emergency
