00:00All right, USA tonight against Finland. We'll start this off by hearing from Panthers forward
00:06Matthew Kachuk. Of course, he's coming off a Stanley Cup win. Looking forward to playing some
00:12high-intensity games for the United States of America. Here's Kachuk. Yeah, I mean, I haven't
00:18really thought about anything other than this, but I'm just, I'm so excited to be here. And once
00:23I got here, like, it just changes, you know, the season's a long season, the regular season. And
00:28especially after the last few years with deep runs in the playoffs. And I just think coming
00:33here, it brings me right back to the Stanley Cup finals. The same mindset, like the same stuff
00:38leading into it. And, you know, these games to me and my team, like, this is as big as it gets
00:45for us. We're talking four game sevens. So, you know, we're really excited for this. Listen,
00:52have you ever heard anyone that, I've never met a player once in the league, and I know hundreds
00:59of them, that doesn't want to play in the Stanley Cup playoffs. And then I listened to this guy
01:06crying about, oh, we've had to play all these extra games the last couple of years. All that matters
01:13is the Stanley Cup playoffs. They might as well just erase the regular season. It's a waste of
01:17time. If every day they could play playoff games, that's what they would do. And this is another
01:22example of it. This is a tournament that matters. It's the same next year in Italy, when they play
01:30in the Olympics, it matters. When they play in the World Cup, it matters. When they play in the under
01:3518 World Championships, it matters. It matters. These regular season NHL games are a waste of
01:42time. All they are is a moneymaker for the league. They're running a business. It's like,
01:47it's no different than a flower store or a candy shop. Everybody needs to make money.
01:52They just, you know, open the door every day and try to make money. Just what the NHL does.
