00:00Americans minus 385 on the money line, a puck line favorite of now minus one and a half
00:06with a hefty amount of juice at minus 142. And that over under against the finish side is five
00:12and a half. Vecchio, we'll talk about the way to approach it when we see the United States
00:16as such a large favorite for their four nations opener against Finland. But when you look at
00:22these two sides, what do you think is the key matchup tonight on the ice up in Montreal?
00:27Oh, I mean, it really comes down to what we're going to see from Finland on offense. And,
00:32you know, I was here on on Tuesday, spoke about Team USA in the puck line, that line has moved
00:36in our favor. If you guys took that, it really comes down to what we see from Finland on offense,
00:41because I do not think their defense will be able to keep up with Team USA offense. And when it
00:45comes to the offense, I actually think it's really hard to break down because there's just too many
00:49good goal scorers. We don't know who's going to be doing the scoring. So I actually have more
00:52interest when it comes to Finland player props, Finland shot props, because if they can't push
00:57back on offense, Team USA will legitimately win this game 5-1, 6-1 at a certain point.
01:04If we are looking at these games too, Tom, because outside knowledge, right,
01:07because it is a round robin tournament. Is there an advantage where let's just say two teams tie?
01:12Is there anything where you have the goal scoring differential where, hey, it's great to win two
01:16to one, but if we can win six or seven to one, that'll really improve our standing?
01:21Yeah, it will improve the standings. Obviously, this is using a different scoring format. So
01:25Canada last night, they didn't get three points. They only got two because they didn't win in
01:28regulation. It'll come down to the final game of who has more points. So therefore, they're the
01:33home team, which gives them the preferred line change, but it's not like we're playing a best
01:37of series. So it is just the one final game. So it's very minor when it's all said and done,
01:41but having home line change is good. You have a shorter shape. So I would say running up the
01:47score may be a good thing for some of these teams. So we looked at those very hefty odds in
01:52favor of the U.S. tonight in a four nations faceoff first matchup against Finland. Vecchio,
01:58let's remind people if they weren't here earlier in the week to get those bets in
02:01how you would approach the Americans as such a hefty favor tonight against team Finland.
02:06Yeah, the puck line has moved. It was minus 118. It's up to minus 142 now. So,
02:11or minus 115. I wouldn't take that. I would simply just play the over at minus 120. That's
02:15kind of what it implies. As I said, I think team USA should be winning this game by multiple goals.
02:19They're going to put up plenty of points. Just the Finland defense is not good. You see Soros,
02:23and that has not been good again. As I mentioned on Tuesday, they lost Myra Heiston and they lost
02:27Rasmus Rithulainen on the blue line. They back up players in there who played fewer than 20 games
02:31this year. It's all about team USA as a goal scorer tonight. I don't know who's going to
02:34score. If Austin Matthews doesn't score tonight because Jack Eichel and Jack Hughes and Kyle
02:38Connor do all the scoring, I'm not going to be surprised. I think like team USA picking
02:41one goal scorer is super difficult.
