Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo: Inside the TV chefs’ troubled relationship

00:00Chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino DeCampo have long been pals,

00:04both on and off screen.

00:06But as DeCampo is facing allegations of bullying and sexual harassment

00:09by colleagues spanning a 12-year period,

00:12things between the pair have become a little more complex.

00:15It's not exactly known when Gordon and Gino met,

00:18but the cooks became very familiar with one another

00:20with the release of their travel and food show with Fred Siriax in 2018.

00:25But things turned sour in 2023,

00:27when DeCampo announced he wouldn't be filming any more episodes of the show.

00:31He said this was due to contract disputes and behind-the-scenes issues,

00:35which was slightly awkward

00:36as the show was actually produced by Ramsay's own production company.

00:40However, some sources argue cracks in their relationship developed even earlier.

00:44Back in 2019, Ramsay publicly vented his rage over his daughter, Tilly,

00:49being in a relationship with DeCampo's son, Luciano.

01:11DeCampo has not recently commented on their friendship,

01:13but has firmly denied the allegations levied against him.
