00:17England and Wales. Water UK said that these rises might be higher than what consumers
00:22were expecting due to the annual totals now including inflation calculations. It's also
00:27predicted that households in England and Wales are set to see energy bills increase
00:32from April. Cornwall Insight have said that in April, energy bills are thought to rise
00:37to £1,785 a year for a typical consumer.
00:41In terms of council tax, households are set to see a rise. Whilst the price rises will
00:46depend on region, most councils are yet to set out their full plans for the year, though
00:51the county council's network predicts that 93% of its members will introduce the maximum
00:56permitted increase in April. Furthermore, major retailers including Tesco and M&S have
