00:30because we learnt that Rhea Chakraborty, his rumoured girlfriend,
00:33was at the Bandra police station for at least nine hours.
00:36Usually, statements are recorded when there is an unnatural death like suicide,
00:41but nine hours is a long time for anyone to record their statement.
00:45And according to sources and reports that were published in Indian dailies
00:49like Times of India, Hindustan Times,
00:51we learnt that they were living together during the lockdown
00:56and just before the actor committed suicide, they had a fight.
01:00And all her phone records are being checked into
01:04and looked into to gain further clarity into the case.
01:07There have been reports that production houses like Yash Raj Films
01:11and other producers have to come forward and submit contracts
01:15that the actors sign with those houses to rule out any foul play.
01:19There's also the question of director Shekhar Kapoor,
01:22who was due to direct Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie Paani.
01:26It got shelved eventually.
01:28Even he was one of the 13 people who came forward
01:32and was asked to record their statements.
01:34Later this afternoon, Kangana Ranaut also posted a video
01:38where she said that actor Sushant Singh Rajput
01:41was at the receiving end of emotional lynching.
01:44In fact, she felt that she has spoken to directors like Abhishek Kapoor,
01:50and has gone through all the reports that there were deliberate attempts
01:54to character assassinate Sushant Singh Rajput.
01:57Ranaut in the video also suggested that there were smear campaigns against the actor
02:02and reports that were not verified,
02:04such as the actor breaking a glass bottle on a director's head
02:08or him being narcissistic, did the rounds.
02:11And she believed that these media people acted like vultures
02:15and those unverified reports and smear campaign
02:18went against the actor and affected his mental health.

02:26that Sushant Singh Rajput's death has triggered.
