Colour & Light transforms the iconic South Transept of York Minster. The event runs from Wednesday 12th February to Sunday 2nd March 2025.

This year’s free event will celebrate the beauty of York’s wildlife, creating an unforgettable event for all ages, and highlighting the city’s heritage and creativity.



Building on the success of previous editions at York Minster and York Art Gallery, which drew tens of thousands of spectators from York and beyond, the 2025 event promises a mesmerising projection featuring York’s nature.
