00:17Princess, more than 9 million youths here in the Philippines are now supported by the Department of Social Welfare Development or DSWD
00:27in their program, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4-Piece, based on their latest report.
00:36The DSWD announced that more than 9 million Filipino youths aged 0 to 18 years old are now under 4-Piece.
00:46According to the Department of Social Welfare Development,
00:49the youths are both receiving cash grants for their education and for their well-being.
00:56In fact, according to the DSWD's data in 2024,
01:01more than 1 million 4-Piece beneficiaries have already graduated from high school.
01:06More than 476,000 have already completed their elementary level.
01:12More than 40,000 4-Piece students have passed their board exams and 65% of them have topped their board exams.
01:22According to the DSWD, more than 4 million households are active in 4-Piece.
01:30The highest number is in the Bicol region, with more than 377,000.
