00:00What if you could write what you wanted your life to be like?
00:07What if you could use art to really manifest your dreams?
00:15When I write, there is light.
00:20There is a rush.
00:23And sometimes there is nothing at all.
00:31You look like this postcard that my friend put under my door.
00:37I wrote a poem about you.
00:44How about we sip some tea, get some coffee, and we create our own ideas?
01:01I know this motherhood thing, this single motherhood thing, I know it's new.
01:06But you've got to think about getting some help.
01:10Even when we're mad at the world, it only got us to take it out on it.
01:20Sometimes we're fighting, we forget why or who.
01:26Sometimes we're just fighting with our ex.
01:30And this person, just the most convenient.
01:38Maya Angelou once said she made her life out of her imagination.
01:45So here I am, writing poems into food, shelter, texture.
01:56And when I don't feel safe, come home.
