00:03Now-embattled Vice President Sara Duterte Carpio has one more legal woe added to her baggage,

00:08a development the House received with relief and eagerness

00:11because it bolsters their claim against the sitting Vice President, as Armela Las Moras reports.

00:19Several House Solons who support the impeachment against Vice President Sara Duterte

00:24are confident that their complaint has become even stronger

00:27now that the National Bureau of Investigation has also recommended

00:30the filing of charges against the Vice President

00:33over her alleged death threats on President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.,

00:37First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:41According to House Assistant Majority Leader Jill Bongalon,

00:44who is also part of the House Prosecution Panel,

00:47this serves as proof that VP Sara has indeed committed violations.

00:52This is a positive development, especially in relation to the impeachment case

00:57filed against the Vice President.

00:59So it would really strengthen our position that indeed the Vice President committed criminal acts.

01:07House Deputy Majority Leader Paul Ortega and Assistant Majority Leader Ernest Ronisio also agree,

01:13especially since there was evidence available to prove their claims.

01:17I really don't know how they can deny it, because it was clearly seen.

01:23So, it was clearly seen that there is corruption in the life of our President by the Vice President.
