Not many are. More than 80 percent of the UAE's working population do not have a retirement savings plan, according to a study.

00:07We came across an alarming set of numbers in a study that was commissioned by HSBC.
00:11So according to a study, about 80% of the population in the UAE don't have a systematic
00:18retirement plan.
00:19Yes, you heard it right.
00:20And only 20% have and save regularly for a retirement plan.
00:26This basically comes in the backdrop of higher life expectancy and lack of serving options.
00:32The International Maritime Organization's recent regulations to lower the content of
00:37sulphur used in marine fuel oil to half a percent from the current 3.5% is expected
00:44to increase the cost by $1 trillion over five years.
00:49This is according to S&P Plan's Managing Director, Analytics, Richard Josvick.
00:55An interview to Gulf News, Richard Josvick said that this cost will wither away in the
01:00short term.
01:01Microsoft has launched a new hybrid version of a tablet as well as a laptop called Surface Go.
01:07This is in direct competition with Apple's latest iPad as well as Samsung's tablet.
01:13The price is about $2,399.
