00:00Because we have changed the story, the first film was based on a lot of comedy situations.
00:09But this time the story has an Indo-Pak element and we have added a lot of romance to it.
00:16It's a story of two parallel couples.
00:20Plus, there's a different kind of romance that has been carried forward by the boys.
00:24It was not hangover. Four boys standing together doesn't make it hangover.
00:29For that matter, Dil Chahata Hai was a copy of some film and Dil Dhadakne Toh was a copy of some film.
00:36Just because there were three guys in a frame.
00:38So, I just found that to be slightly ridiculous.
00:41I was offended when they said, Masti.
00:44To be honest with you. Because seriously, Masti or Grand Masti, please.
00:49I'm nowhere near that and would never be.
00:52But this time, the story just came to me. It's a sweet, simple story.
00:57And we have treated it in a very Pakistani way.
01:00Which was why I think the first part also worked.
01:04Because it was a very Pakistani interpretation of four guys together in one frame.
01:08And then the story. So, same is the case with this film.
01:11And it's a very 2018 take on the whole India-Pakistan thing.
01:16It's not like we don't have guns in the film.
01:20There's only one gun. That's an ancestral gun that's been used.
01:23Otherwise, you don't see any gun in the film.
01:25And what about the portrayal of women in the first instalment?
01:27What did you guys think about it?
01:29Because from where I saw it, I thought they looked like very possessive women.
01:33Possessive partners.
01:36Let me correct you. Possessive wives.
01:38Wives. Partners. Come on. Okay, wives.
01:40Yeah, why did you portray wives as these negative, you know, uncontrollable shoes?
01:45No, not negative. They are those kind of wives who are possessive like that.
01:48Not all of them are.
01:49Not all of them. Exactly.
01:51You see, not all of them, but the ones that I showed in that film were.
01:55Firstly, to take your question from the first instalment,
01:58I truly believe there is no harm in doing a boys' film and then girls being a part of it.
02:04We've been in a drama industry which has had girls' dramas for the longest time.
02:09Which is unfair.
02:10And these boys, you know, I'll tell you, these boys have stood next to us all through those years.
02:14I have not seen them make a big deal out of it.
02:17So I feel because now it's a day and age of feminism,
02:20we like talking about these things is what I feel.
02:23I think it's going to be an entertainment.
02:25I think my part is going to add on to the film.
02:28And I think it's a great part also.
02:30As compared to the first film, as Kudra said,
02:32since there are love stories and we're not wives yet,
02:35we're girlfriends, so we get the better part.
02:38You're the cooler.
02:39Yeah, but for me personally, I don't think that's any agenda.
02:43I don't think that's a big deal.
02:44I think this is also a boys' film.
02:46And I'm up for it.
02:47I'm going to watch it because it's a boys' film.
02:49We're going to watch boys.
02:50Fantastic.
02:52I personally really like my role.
02:53I think I relate to it a lot because it's very subtle.
02:57There's no extremism in any way.
02:59I think a lot of people will be able to relate to that
03:01because especially the kind of people we are bringing up now,
03:05not just actresses but even like the youth we have right now,
03:08they are learning to stay comfortable in their own skin.
03:11And I think they will be able to relate to my character a lot
03:14because she's a little bit of a tomboy.
03:16She's a rebel.
03:17She's an adrenaline junkie.
03:18And she does not care enough to actually abide by others' rules.
03:22And it's a good thing.
03:23Have you ever cheated on your wife?
03:25Or your partner?
03:26Please, you know.
03:27Ahmed will start first.
03:29Yes, I have cheated on my wife with Humayun Saeed and Nadeem.
03:34This is all in jest, people.
03:36Let's have a disclaimer.
03:37I have been writing this film for three years,
03:40so I started with Humayun and Nadeem.
03:42Yes.
03:43You don't have a wife.
03:45No, partner.
03:46Come on, there's a partner.
03:47Yes, spouse.
03:48No, I haven't.
03:49I don't believe in cheating.
03:50If you want to cheat, be single.
03:51Why are you with a partner?
03:53But then if you're single, then it doesn't apply as cheating?
03:56That's wrong.
03:57That's what I'm saying.
03:58Then it's just living.
03:59Yeah.
04:00I did.
04:02No, no, never.
04:03That's one thing I completely am against it.
04:05No.
04:07I don't cheat.
04:08I tell her before I cheat.
04:13I love it.
04:14How do you like it?
04:15I'm a huge follower of my wife.
04:20I do what he tells me to do.
