00:00Dubai Frame is one of the unique projects that Dubai Municipality has been keen to implement.
00:11The aesthetic icon is an architectural landmark that culturally connects the past with the
00:16present and an important attraction for visitors, tourists, and residents alike.
00:20The Dubai Frame, or Biruaz Dubai, was built at a cost of 250 million dirhams.
00:27It consists of two transparent glass towers of 150-meter height that are connected by
00:33a 93-meter-long bridge at the top.
00:36The space between the towers gives a pretty clear view of the city from a high altitude.
00:41On one side, it frames the images and buildings of Sheikh Zayed Road to symbolize the modern
00:47city of Dubai, while the other side of the Biruaz includes landmark areas of Deira, Omhorair,
00:54and Karama.
00:55The ground floor is designed to include a museum that tells the story of the development
01:00of the city and a presentation of everything related to Dubai.
01:04The concept takes the visitor on a journey through time where visitors enter into an
01:08immersive experience representing the past history of the emirate.
01:13It shows the old city by using the latest means of presentation with 3D images that
01:19contribute to the creation of a favorable environment that suits the comprehensive boom
01:24witnessed by the city of Dubai.
01:26After that, visitors are directed to the second experience on the skydeck level that represents
01:31the present of Dubai.
01:33The visitors will be experiencing uninterrupted views of Dubai from all sides.
01:39This is supported by interactive applications such as augmented reality activated screens
01:45whereby the visitors can identify different buildings and landmarks by exploring interesting
01:50facts or observing buildings and landmarks in 3D.
01:53The next experience is on the other side of the mezzanine level where visitors can
01:57see the future Dubai gallery.
02:00The concept of this gallery is to depict Dubai 50 years from now into the future by creating
02:05a virtual metropolis through interactive projections and virtual reality technology.
02:11Dubai Frame will be open to the public from January 1st, 2018 as a New Year gift.
