00:46The confirmation came after a historically tumultuous process that saw the senator come
00:52under fire for his views on race and civil rights.
00:56Sessions, who was the Alabama senator since 1997, was confirmed as the nation's 84th top
01:02law enforcement officer by surviving a partisan vote by 52-47 after days of delays in the
01:10Senate voting.
01:11Sessions was one of the first few top Republican senators to have endorsed Trump in his race
01:17to the White House when he was still pitted against his opponents in the GOP primary.
01:24Martial arts legend Jackie Chan has made a career out of death-defying stunts, but Bollywood
01:30dancing doesn't come easy to him.
01:32"'At first, learning Bollywood-style dancing was very difficult for me,' said Chan in an
01:36interview with Gulf News for his latest action comedy, Kung Fu Yoga, set in India and shot
01:42in the UAE.
01:43But then the dance instructor related the movements to daily activities, such as changing
01:48light bulbs and hitting the ground, so it became easier."
01:52Though Kung Fu Yoga has received mixed reviews and came under fire for peddling Indian stereotypes,
01:58is doing robust box office business in the UAE.
02:02Pop star Madonna debuted two new daughters on social media saying she had completed her
02:08adoption of the twins from Malawi.
02:10The singer, 58, was granted permission by Malawi's High Court this week to adopt the
02:15twin girls.
02:17She posted a photo on Instagram of herself walking along a rural path with the girls,
02:22who were wearing identical blue and white dresses and one was wearing a hat.
02:27And finally, the weather.
