00:00LEGOLAND Dubai welcomed its first wave of visitors last Friday and Saturday as it conducted
00:14a soft launching attended by annual ticket holders and VIPs.
00:18The preview gave LEGO fans a glimpse of the breadth of the park's offering ahead of
00:22its official opening on Monday.
00:24LEGOLAND will be the first of the three theme parks at the Dubai Parks and Resorts to open
00:28its doors to the paying public.
00:30It is the first LEGOLAND park in the Middle East and seventh in the world.
00:34LEGOLAND Dubai covers a total area of 3 million square feet and features over 40 interactive
00:39rides, shows, attractions and LEGO building experiences.
00:44There are 15,000 LEGO model structures in the theme park and 60 million LEGO bricks
00:48used to build many of the structures.
00:51It has six theme lands, each unique in its experience, entertainment and educational
00:55offering.
00:57Whenever we build a LEGOLAND park we are trying to learn from the experience from the others
01:02so we brought the best attractions that we have from our other LEGOLAND parks here and
01:06we try to adapt it to the conditions and the environment we are building the park.
01:11So for example here we have built the ever first indoor mini land and attraction underneath
01:17a dome air conditioned and so even in the summer heat people can enjoy the park.
01:22We can spend almost a day here so it is a good place we can spend with the family especially
01:28with the kids if you are a kid really they will enjoy it.
01:32I think this is the best one so all of the iconic buildings in UAE in Dubai it's here.
01:38Mini land they have is quite the Arab side of it so it gives a touch to the Arab culture
01:45that they have here.
01:46LEGOLAND Dubai also features school trips for children aged 5 to 12 allowing them to
01:50build robots, learn how machines work or use LEGO bricks in storytelling.
