00:00It is prevalent all over India. Nobody, everybody knows it. Everybody buys blood. Nobody talks
00:17about it. So here we go, we've got a movie nicely packaged in all wholesome entertainment
00:21where we will tell people about this as well. But I don't think you can preach people. So
00:25I think Afzal's approach towards this has been very, very good. I think he wanted to
00:30tell a story about friendship and crime and mentorship and love and all that. And he found
00:36this great milieu to tell it in. And it's written by a guy who was actually working
00:40in the blood bank in Karnal at that time and was personally a witness to it.
00:49The toughest part about being Shankar was it's the most flamboyant character I have
00:53ever played. It's the most flamboyant character I have ever played.
00:57Not in the obvious sense. When you relate to flamboyance, I think of Vijay Mallya for
01:01some reason. That's me.
01:03Oh, no, no, no. From his clothes to his, the way he deals with things and people and everything.
01:10He's really out there. And a character who's, when you say that the bad boy with a good
01:19heart, it's because somewhere he's doing it all for love. Those are the characters
01:24that always catch on.
01:29There's a Mayo Charles, there's a kick.
01:32So good and so bad. There's no in between with you, I feel.
01:38I don't think, I think I was bad only in one film, really.
01:42Which one?
01:43Which you probably have named. I won't name it.
01:45Oh, I see.
01:46But otherwise, it's been, see, I'm an actor, I'm not a filmmaker. So, you take up things
01:52and all good things and my thing is that I have played all kinds of characters. My work,
01:58really work on, you know, changing my whole being rather than just having, growing a moustache
02:05and growing your hair or cutting your hair or colouring it or wearing a different colour
02:10which often is the case. So, that, that is my attempt. And if you look at my last five,
02:17six films from Rang Rasiya to Mayo Charles, Kick, Highway, then Laal Rang and then Sarabjit
02:27to Come and Diba Boys. So, it's all different. I mean, I, for me, it's just, I do it just
02:35to keep my work interesting for myself.
