00:00I don't think we lack original content. In fact, his earlier two films as producer,
00:11Vicky Donor and Madras Cafe, both have been completely original and both have been fantastic
00:16films. I have done my share of original cinema also and adapted cinema also. So it is like,
00:22well, if someone does a departed, it is okay, right?
00:24I think you either make bad remakes from bad originals or you make bad remakes from
00:33good originals like you have seen off late or you make a better remake of a fantastic
00:37original.
00:43This film gives you the promise that it is offering you a lot in the trailer. It is giving
00:48you the promise that, you know, if you like the teaser and you like the trailer, you are
00:53going to enjoy this film. But like you said, to reiterate what you said, that it looks
00:58familiar but when you go in and see it and you walk out, you realise you have seen something
01:03better and that is why the two of us keep discussing and we say no disrespect meant
01:07to the teaser or the trailer but the film is far better than that.
01:14Yeah, so basically Nishi gave this title Rocky Handsome and I found a lot of consolation
01:21in it because Rocky IV impacted me when I saw it where Stallone fought with Dolph Lundgren,
01:27you know, in America versus Russia, the whole thing. And it really impacted me and I said,
01:31man, this man looks really cool and I need to be like that. And I think in my own way,
01:36in my own little way, this is my homage to, I had love for Stallone to see this film.
01:42This film was more of a, on a phone call rather than, it was not about selling a concept at
01:50all. It's because also we know each other for a long time and I said, you know, this
01:55will fall into place and everything and he was, yeah, readily on board like, okay, let's
02:00go all out with it. So, it was never about selling a concept. It was rather discussing
02:04that we should do this one.
02:07I met a little girl in the lift two days ago when I was coming here. And she said,
02:13John Abraham. So, when you know that the action is picked up by women, you know that they
02:21find it attractive. This action is not gory. It's not, you know, like, yeah, like you
02:27just close your eyes. It's action that's beautiful. It's poetry in motion. But at
02:34the same time, it also, you know, I said this even earlier to everybody and that's where
02:42Nishi comes in. It's that no action is complete without emotion and Rocky Hansen is a very,
02:47very emotional film.
02:53Because I think…
02:54Is it boring? Is it long?
02:55No, I watch the TV shows and it's great revenue for TV channels and where do you see
03:02in any of our awards where you see, and the nominees are, you see eight blocks and you
03:07see eight nominees sitting there. You only see one winner going for it and the rest of
03:11them will come there and dance. So, I really think if you really want to watch TV and want
03:17to have a great TV time, go and watch an award. I'm not saying the winners are not deserving
03:22which is why Nishi should go and pick up all the awards for Rocky Hansen. But I think you
03:27can exclude me from it.
03:32I think you can exclude me from it.
