00:00He's an editor, he's running a print, it's called Satyakam, and as a journalist editor,
00:17how he's tackling the issues of the society, so that is another one element to the film.
00:28Actually, I think journalism is a thing where you have a great responsibility, which every
00:33journalist should basically take that very seriously, like we as actors, when we realise
00:39that we've become a commodity that people are looking up to us, so we have to be very
00:43careful what we say and how we do so, you know, and I think the journalism is the same
00:47thing, we have to be, we have to bring across something which will not do anything wrong
00:53to the society, basically.
00:58I really don't know, that's the way I am, definitely right now, for this film, I have
01:04really stepped out because I realised that I've really put so much of work in my film,
01:09and then it's not the film's fault if it doesn't do well, if I don't promote, so for the film's
01:13sake I have to do it, otherwise the film will be asking me a question, you did all the effort
01:18over here, then why didn't you promote me?
01:24Well, I fit in because I joined this industry to become an actor, to do acting and to bring
01:31across the profession of creativity, and that's what I enjoy, and I've kept doing that all
01:38the time, that's why I pick up subjects of that genre and I'm taking it ahead, so you
01:46don't have to basically do what everybody does, because I'd rather be what I am, and
01:52if my work is good, be successful, if my work is not good, I should pack my bag and go away,
01:58but that's the way it should be, instead of doing all the other things, because that's
02:01not fair.
02:07Somehow, somehow it has gone a little bit onto that side, and I'm sure right now everybody's
02:12feeling the overdoing of it, and I see new, younger people coming in, and I'm sure it's
02:18going to turn around, but it does by itself, it's a cycle, slowly I think it will, because
02:25now off late I see so many people do good things, because that is good publicity now.
02:34I think they, I mean, obviously I'm the director, I'm the producer, I'm the actor, so, so writer,
02:40so I, I, it is me who's doing it all, so definitely the actors came in, but, and selected
02:46them, and as the, even the technicians, but as the film started progressing, they started
02:51understanding the vision which I was having.
02:58Well, I'm happy, basically, as long as you're happy what you're doing, it doesn't matter
03:02really, I have no grudges, I have no nothing about it, so I'm happy about the way I conduct
03:07myself, the way I'm doing things, so, and, and I cannot change, I can just be me.
