00:00This is my new album, it's called Aro Gabi, mga awit ni Ryan, ni Maestro Ryan.
00:18You don't know, Maestro Ryan is Ryan Kebyab, a very famous composer in Manila, and he made
00:28such beautiful songs, and he started, I think, during the 60s.
00:32So right now, I rearranged some of his songs and made it into my own.
00:40These are all classics, that's why it's very special.
00:46These are all beautiful songs, for Filipinos, these songs are part of their childhood, their
00:52lives, so that's what we did here.
00:55I have two favorites here, well, my first favorite is Aro Gabi, it's a song for my
01:02wife.
01:03The second one is Minsan Ang Minalay Ako, the second one's my favorite because when
01:12I was younger, I started as an actress, and of course, as an actor, life isn't always
01:19a bed of roses, and things happened, I lost projects when I got older, so I felt how it
01:28is to lose that popularity, to lose that.
01:32So this is my song, because despite of losing that popularity, despite of losing people,
01:39I still love my job, so I'm still here.
01:42Number one is love, you have to love what you do.
01:48Because when you love what you do, it's natural to just give everything.
01:55You have to always be on top of your game, you know?
