00:47Integration and connectivity are the main goals of RTA's urban and transport planning,
00:51making it easier to transfer between different transport modes such as the Dubai Metro, Dubai
00:56Tram, buses and water vehicles.
00:59The marine transport is integrated with different modes of transport.
01:03Let's take an example, Al Ghubaib Bus Station, which is here, it's integrated with, and this
01:09station is integrated with Dubai Metro and Dubai Bus at the same station.
01:13Last year, Dubai's marine transport hubs served more than 30 million passengers, making them
01:19a critical component in the overall transport strategy of the Emirate.
01:23So they can use the NOL card, the smart card, the RTA smart card, which can use it in all
01:28different modes of transport and the Water Bus is one of them.
01:33They can move from one place to another place.
01:35Aside from the regular marine transport stations, RTA also operates special services in waterways
01:41located near the Burj Khalifa and in Global Village.
01:45The new hub is coming for Dubai and it will increase the ridership for the marine transportation
01:52and it's a new kind of hub.
01:54With milestones the RTA has achieved, it's putting Dubai on track towards offering a
01:59truly world-class integrated transport network.
