The call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin likely set the stage for a visit by Trump’s Ukraine Envoy, General Kellogg, former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza says.

00:18he said a couple of weeks ago, OK, OK, OK, overnight's not possible, I need, I think
00:23he said 100 days.
00:24And so he's imminently headed to Kiev, he'll be at the Munich Security Conference along
00:29with Vice President Vance later this week and is expected to head onward to Kiev.
00:35So Trump clearly wants to meet Putin and I think Kellogg's trip will help set that up
00:41and if there was a call, there probably was between Putin and Trump in recent days, that's
00:46probably clearing the way for General Kellogg's visit.
