Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the military will resume full-scale operations in Gaza if Hamas does not release Israeli hostages by midday on February 15.

"If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday at noon, the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will return to intensive fighting until Hamas is completely defeated," Netanyahu said in a video statement.

Following Hamas's announcement to postpone the release, Netanyahu said he had ordered Israeli forces to prepare for action in and around Gaza.
