00:08In 2024, the U.S. imported a total of just over 584 billion euros in goods from the EU.
00:17Between 2014 and 2024, the U.S. imports from the EU grew by 44%.

01:14but this is not the first time the U.S. president has done so.
01:18During his first term, Trump also imposed tariffs of 25% on steel imports
01:24and 10% on aluminium imports from the EU, Canada and Mexico.
