The International Boxing Association is suing the International Olympic Committee for allowing boxers Lin Yu-ting from Taiwan and Imane Khelif from Algeria to compete in women's boxing at the 2024 Paris Games. The two athletes, neither of whom are transgender, were banned from competing in an event by the IBA in 2023.

00:25After filing a complaint in Switzerland, where the Olympic Committee is based, the association
00:29says it'll also pursue legal action in France and the United States.
00:34The IBA's head cited U.S. President Trump's order to ban transgender athletes from women's
00:39sporting events as validating their efforts to, quote, protect the integrity of female
00:44sports.
00:45Neither Lin nor Khalif is transgendered.
