00:00Jojo has worked in the Middle East as a steelman for over six years.

00:05This is his way to support the needs of his family, to include his children's education.

00:11It's hard. First of all, of course, you leave your family.

00:16You don't know what's going to happen when you leave.

00:20You don't know what's going to happen to their livelihood, their daily life.

00:26He said the programs for OFWs like him and a group representing them are also a big thing.

00:31All the aspects of the problems, all kinds of problems of OFWs,

00:38we have allies in Congress to bring their concerns.

00:45Jojo is only one of those repatriated OFWs who joined the OFW Love Day

00:51as part of the upcoming Valentine's Day celebration.

00:54OFW Love Day aims to recognize the dedication, sacrifice,

00:59and important contribution of the so-called heroes of the modern time, our brave OFWs.

01:05We helped our OFWs in repatriation, reintegration,

01:11in their medical, educational, and livelihood.

01:16Some former OFWs also shared their inspiring stories.

01:19I had a livelihood program. I was able to receive P20,000.

01:25I built a small massage clinic.

01:29Meanwhile, the group assured to provide help to the family of Ralph Anthony Bobiles,

01:34the missing Pinoy seafarer aboard the ship Prestige Ace

01:37that sailed from Veracruz, Mexico to Baltimore in America on December 5, 2024.

01:43They will also cooperate with the Department of Migrant Workers in resolving the case.

01:48We will cooperate with various government agencies

01:51so that we can investigate Bobiles' case for justice.

01:56We will provide financial assistance so that we can start again

02:01and resolve the case.

02:05The DMW has suspended the license of the mining agency, the Parola Maritime Agency,

02:11and is ordered to submit a full investigation report related to Bobiles' disappearance.

02:16The agency is also coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs to resolve the case.
