Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham launched into an X-rated outburst at a linesman during his side's 1-1 draw at home to rivals Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
It was a tense game between two of the title contenders, with Real one point ahead of Atletico at the top of the table.
Bellingham's frustration boiled over following an incident in the 12th minute.
After Bellingham tussled for possession with Marcos Llorente the linesman flagged for a throw to Atletico.
That decision infuriated Bellingham, who shouted: at the official before shaking his head and running away.
Atletico took the lead in the 35th minute through a penalty from Julian Alvarez but Real equalized courtesy of Kylian Mbappe five minutes into the second half.
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti was unhappy with the penalty awarded to Atletico in the first half.
The spot-kick was given following a coming together between Aurelien Tchouameni and Samuel Lino in the area.
Although referee Cesar Soto Grado missed the incident he was instructed to consult VAR and subsequently gave a penalty.
Ancelotti said: 'I don’t want to talk (about the referee). The penalty has been awarded by VAR. The referee was very close and saw it well. I saw another penalty in Athletic-Girona… The people of football do not understand this.
'I don’t want to get into a controversy that is quite big. It was an even, competitive match. As I said, we came out of the game with a draw but encouraged. The team was good in the second half.'
Real had suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Espanyol in their previous LLa Ligagame and must now turn their attention to the Champions League.
Ancelotti's side travel to face Manchester City on Tuesday for the first leg of their intriguing play-off tie.
Bellingham has made a significant impact since he joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in 2023.
In total, Bellingham has made 74 appearances for Real, while he has scored 33 goals and provided 23 assists.
After winning the Champions League and La Liga last season, Bellingham will be determined to lift further silverware this campaign.
