00:00In gym, if you pick up a heavy weight first, it goes on well, but I am scared of again putting up a second set of the weights.
00:05Because of the pain, I have to go through again.
00:07If you will talk to gym owners, they'll tell you that the dropout rates from gyms are unbelievably high.
00:15They try to lock you in through long-term membership programs.
00:19They'll say two months, a high amount.
00:21Six months, a comparatively lower amount on a per-month basis.
00:25Unless you lock yourself in for a year, you are likely to drop out by the end of the first or second month.
00:32We do not really know what we are going to the gym for.
00:35And that's the reason why there is then demotivation and lack of energy.
00:40Do we have clarity of purpose?
00:42Do we have a goal worth striving for?
00:46And if you have that kind of a compelling and beautiful goal, the goal energizes you.
00:53The goal keeps you on track.
00:55The goal makes it impossible for you to drop out.
