00:00Every time I walk into a room, I have someone play it. It does everything I wanted the end of this
00:04series to do. They said, Well, you were once Cobra Kai. And I was like, No, I wasn't. And I'm like,
00:08Oh, yes, you were. Well, it's good to see you again. I assure you there'll be no tears today.
00:14How are you? I'm very well. And that's because I've already had my tears. I told you last time,
00:20if I heard you're the best, I was gonna be in floods of tears. And you knew it when I said it.
00:25Um, how does it make you feel when you hear that song? Because it must have a deep rooted
00:31connection to you as well. It's every every time I walk into a room, I have someone play it.
00:36That's just what no, no. In a way, I do have to say, when I saw the trailer that just dropped,
00:44you know, that song hits and it's just the hair stand up, you get the goosebumps. That's it.
00:49You know, it just, it takes you back to a certain time, it's nostalgic, yet,
00:55it's still kicks ass in a way and seeing it under the images of Cobra Kai, it, it does everything I
01:01wanted the end of this series to do, which is harken back to what where the magic was created
01:07back in 1983. Hence 84 is release. It's it's awesome. I have an anthem, you know, who knew
01:16it's my gym track as well. Something rocky for me is that one. Yeah. But while you have been
01:22Miyagi-Do your whole life, this is Cobra Kai, and you have had to adopt those teachings as well.
01:29What's it been like for you having to do that? It was easier, or I guess I became more used to it
01:36in season six than I was previous. It was always like, I'm not I can't even, you know, it was
01:42interesting early on, there was, I think, a scene in season two, where I even forgot in one of the
01:48sequels, I was Cobra Kai with Terry Silver for a while. And I remember reading the scene. And they
01:54said, Well, you were once Cobra Kai. And I was like, No, I wasn't. And I'm like, Oh, yes, you
01:58were. Because in my mind, I could never go to that, that dark place, which is kind of funny,
02:04the parallels, life imitating art. And so coming fully to that side to sort of understand the
02:12benefits of it, you know, is really carefully figured out or dissected by the writers and the
02:19creators of the show on how both of these sides can enhance to make a better end game. And when
02:26you need to be a little more aggressive, and when you need to be more on the defense, or, but it's
02:32still always about avoiding the conflict. And that's still in the end, is what you know, is where
02:38LaRusso stands and believes and, and that feels good going forward.
02:42And obviously, we are coming to the end. I've already reached the end. And I'm very sad about
02:47it. But have you got a message for the fans who have been there from the very first films to the
02:53YouTube Red to then to Netflix now, like, who this series has meant so much to?
02:59Yeah, those fans, I mean, I call them the day one ers that have been there from day one,
03:05you know, they've they've lifted this up, they they provide, you know, the the wind and the
03:12sails for the flight of a lifetime that I get to be on. It's always, you know, this is a it is it
03:19was the fans movie that made this little sleeper in 84 become a piece of pop culture over decades
03:25of time. And, you know, when we show up to Cobra Kai screening, it's the fans that pack the streets.
03:33So it's, it's if they if they weren't there, we'd never get to do it. So without them,
03:38we don't have the opportunity. So it's really a two way street of inspiration from the fandom
03:44to the creative folks that tell the story. It's a love affair. And we will keep it going
03:52as long as we can. Oh, please keep it going. It's been the greatest show. I'm going to miss
03:57it so much. Please make it over to the UK next time. At one point I have to meet my childhood
04:02here. That may happen within this year. I have a feeling. Okay, lovely. See you again, Ralph.
