Men across fashion, film, TV, and music kicked off New York Fashion Week by strutting their stuff down the runway for The Blue Jacket Fashion Show on World Cancer Day in New York City on Tuesday evening. Blue Jacket founder and fashion designer, Frederick Anderson invited Don Lemon, Elvis Nolasco, Eric West, Alex Lundqvist, Andy Hilfiger, Bill Nye, Dominic Fumusa, Nigel Barker, Mario Cantone and many more to walk at the 9th annual event that benefits prostate cancer awareness and funding. We talked to the guys before they hit the runway about supporting the cause and how they stay healthy.

00:28I started this conversation to have guys talking about it.
00:31And then nine years ago when I started, 111 men, 1 in 9 black men were getting prostate cancer or being diagnosed.
00:37Now, you know what the numbers are? 1 in 8 and 1 in 6 black men.
00:42It's an up show. You know, when some of them have that look that's just gorgeous, they can be serious.
00:48I have to mess around and get the laughs, you know.
00:51I didn't have high cheekbones, baby. I had to work for my talent.
00:55Who am I wearing tonight? I'm wearing Carlos Campos.
00:57I try to get as much sleep as possible and, you know, I just try not to let things bother me.
01:02I'm aware, but you've got to let things roll off your back.
01:04And you self-care. I spend time with my family and my dogs keep me sane.
01:09Frederick Anderson is an incredible human being, a brilliant designer.
01:14And I was thrilled to join and I'm thrilled to be here every year.
01:17And, you know, as far as prostate health, it's such a simple test and it really saves lives.
