We got Don Lemon in New Orleans last night and asked him about Kanye's "Free Diddy" tweets ... hours before the Nazi stuff was posted. Don said Ye's a "master self-promoter, a master marketer," kinda like Trump -- everything he does, everybody follows it.

00:00You know, your new arch nemesis has made a big claim, he said, on Twitter, on socials,
00:11basically, Free Diddy.
00:14And I got to everybody talking, what's your thoughts on this, man?
00:20No one's saying that, nobody's saying that, you know, like...
00:22Why do you guys, I don't know, why do you follow everything, how the hell are you, everything
00:27he's got, he says.
00:28He's a master self-promoter, a master marketer, and he's kind of like Trump, like everything
00:36he does, like everybody follows it.
00:38Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:39Look, let the trial happen, I mean, look, there are people who are in New York, in the
00:46Southern District of New York, they know a lot better than Kanye, the evidence against
00:52Diddy, so just let it happen, and we can all accept that.
00:55Yeah, and...
00:56He's on, like he's looking for a headline, he's gonna delete the shit tomorrow, he's
01:03on to something else.
01:04I hear you, I mean, he's backing up Chris Brown, saying we keep letting these, like,
01:09black celebrities, you know, basically go down, and no one's there to speak up for them.
01:16Look, that's true, but I don't know if Diddy, or Chris Brown, or like the Postage Shop children
01:26or whatever, so I know that it happens that, you know, black men feel like they're targeted,
01:32or they do target black men, but I don't know if those two are, like, the examples of what
01:37should happen.
