00:00Yes, this is very much the other Barry Humphreys. This is Barry Humphreys, the art lover, the
00:09book collector, and all-round intelligent, cultured man. Yes, we couldn't really have
00:15a Barry Humphreys auction without some Dame Edna. Dame Edna once said that, you know,
00:20Barry was ripping her off, and that's how he could afford to buy all this art. So I
00:23think it's only fair that we have some Dame Edna here as well. And we have around 30 lots,
00:27including costume caricatures, but of course some Dame Edna glasses, her famous face furniture,
00:32which just make the sale amusing. And it's really what people remember, you know, often
00:37of Barry Humphreys is Dame Edna. But, you know, this is the man behind Dame Edna. Estimates
00:41in the sale range from £200 right up to £300,000. So there is a huge, broad arena of estimates.
00:50But I think the Dame Edna piece has really attracted a global audience because people
00:53loved her. And people, you know, found her funny. They remember a particular show with
00:59another celebrity. And I think we'll see amazing interest in all the Dame Edna costume and
01:02glasses.
