00:05so that they can pursue or pass some pending priority bills

00:21I am hopeful we can do it within the six session days.

00:25Senate President Jesus Codero is confident

00:27that they can pursue some pending priority bills

00:30before the 19th Congress ends in June.

00:33Although the session will return on June 6,

00:36the Congress will break again on June 13,

00:39so only six session days will be left

00:42to approve and ratify the proposed laws.

00:46Codero said,

00:47it is still possible to pass the committee reports

00:51while the Senate is still recessed.

00:54He explained that within six session days,

00:57it is possible to approve in the second reading

01:00the proposal within one day,

01:02and within three days, it can be passed for final reading.

01:06If necessary, the session can also be extended

01:09until Thursday to speed up the process.

01:12If we extend sessions on a Thursday, we can do more.

01:16If the President certifies it as urgent,

01:19then we can dispense within three days.

01:21As part of the proposed targets,

01:23the Connected Filipino Bill, E-Governance or EGOF Bill,

01:27Rightsizing Bill, and the Virology Institute Bill,

01:30all of these are included in the LEDAC bills

01:33of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

01:36I am very hopeful that yes, we can.

01:39With the assistance of the Executive,

01:41if it is a priority measure,

01:42we can abbreviate the process and pass certain other bills

01:46that haven't even been sponsored on the floor.

01:48In the six remaining session days that we have.

01:51The 200 Pesos Wage Hike Bill has now been brought to the camera.

01:55The ball is now in the camera to be chased.

01:58A year has already passed since the Senate passed

02:01its own version of the 100 Pesos Wage Hike Bill.
