Muere Frankie Laine en San Diego. Tenía 93 años y había nacido en Chicago en 1913 como Francesco Paolo Lo Vecchio. Fue uno de los cantantes más populares de los 40 y los 50. Colaboró con canciones para westerns, como en A la hora señalada, que ganó el Oscar. También cantó en El tren de las 3:10 a Yuma y en Duelo de titanes.
