Red Ryder's father is killed by the henchmen of a conniving banker who plans to drive ranchers from their land so he can profit from the forthcoming railroad. Red swears revenge and sets out to bring the gang to justice, with help from his friends Cherokee Sims and Little Beaver. Based on the newspaper comic strip by Fred Harmon.
