00:00Lazy. Lazy in a good way.
00:03When it comes to the kitchen, I like it less messy.
00:07So, I have a lot of one-pot dishes.
00:12And this is one of them.
00:14My Chicken Cilantro Rice.
00:18So, in a pot where you can cook rice,
00:22what I'll do is,
00:24I'll heat the pot first.
00:26I'll add some oil.
00:28Just a little.
00:29And then, I'll sear the chicken.
00:41So, I'm using leg quarter, the bone.
00:45And while we're searing it,
00:47skin side down, I'll season the top.
00:49I'll sear the top.
00:57While we're searing the chicken,
01:00we'll cut the cilantro into three different portions.
01:04So, we have the roots, the stems, and the leaves.
01:10I'll garnish this part after everything is cooked.
01:14But the roots and stems,
01:17I'll use them to cook the rice.
01:21I'll set it aside.
01:22At this point, the leg quarter fillet is half-cooked.
01:27The chicken essence is at the bottom of the pan.
01:32I'll put the rice in the pot.
01:36Let's add the cilantro roots and stems.
