00:08Charlize was swimming about 100 meters offshore at Wurrum Beach when she suffered life-threatening

00:14Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but she could not be saved.
00:19Friends and family later gathered on the beach, embracing and paying tribute to the avid beach
00:23and surf lover who was also a member of the Bribie Island Surf Lifesaving Club Nippers.

00:42Her death marks the third fatal shark attack this summer.
