00:00The Agriculture Department has declared a food security emergency on rice.

00:08This is in accordance with the recommendation of the National Price Coordinating Council

00:12in the middle of raising the price of rice.

00:15In addition to the food security emergency declaration,

00:17the rice buffer stock can be released to the National Food Authority or NFA

00:22to lower the price and ensure that there is a sufficient supply.

00:26The government has issued a fine of P7 million from those who should not have crossed the ELSA busway this January.

00:35Earlier, a rider was arrested while trying to escape from the authorities.

00:41An LTO officer and a police officer were also arrested.

00:44Former PCSO General Manager Roina Garma and former NAPOLCOM Commissioner Edilberto Leonardo

00:51were charged with murder and frustrated murder.

00:59Five more were charged.

01:01Garma and Leonardo were the first to be rejected by the House Quad Committee.
