00:00Hello, I'm Nathan Judah. I'm joined by world's reported Mr. Liam Keane. Liam, this is our
00:13third video of the day. We've just done the Keane and Judah show. We did a transfer video
00:16prior to that, but we scrapped that. We scrapped that because even though we're supposed to
00:20be working later in the day, we were working 8, 9, 10, 11, right the way up until 11 PM
00:25tonight. And it means that things are moving very, very quickly. And we did a nice little
00:29video, but since then things have changed slightly. So we're bringing you a new, fresher
00:32up-to-date video. Liam, it's 11 PM. We've had from January the 1st until February the
00:382nd to get players in. Agbidu is in, but we all love a deadline there. We all love some
00:42news coming in at the last minute. That's what we live for, isn't it? And it looks like
00:47Liam, one, potentially two coming in. Give me the latest on a defender and a midfielder.
00:52Yes, hopefully this video will, uh, will make it to the airwaves and not be scrapped. Yeah,
00:58things are developing quickly as expected, but we have got some solid information now,
01:01which hopefully will move Wolves into bringing one and hopefully two players through the door
01:07in the next few hours. Obviously 11 PM tonight is the, the deadline. Um, so we brought a story
01:12and a video yesterday, late last night with Wolves looking at, um, three players, which we
01:17did make clear at the time were amongst a number of players that they were looking at. Um, and one
01:21of them seems to be coming through, um, Nasser Jigar, uh, a 22 year old, uh, Burkina Faso
01:28international plays a red star ball grade in Serbia. Um, been really impressive for them
01:33playing all of their Champions League games, playing 27 times or competitions this season,
01:38um, largely on the right side of defence and been pretty impressive. Um, we put a story out this
01:43morning to say that Wolves had made a bid of 12 million euros, which is roughly around 10 million
01:48pounds. And that bid has been accepted by red star barrel grade. Um, as we record this video
01:55right now, I mean, it's caught past midday. Um, the players in the air, he is flying to England
02:02to get this deal done before the deadline tonight. Um, and the, the good news with this is that
02:09the alongside the fact that wasn't getting a player is that the deal was slightly up in the air
02:14only an hour or so ago when Turkish giants Galatasaray came in with a huge bid has been
02:19described to me, uh, to try and convince the player to go to Turkey instead. And unlike the
02:26Kevin Danzo situation where he agreed to go to Wolves and very quickly turned and went to Spurs,
02:31the player has indicated that he wants to join Wolves. He wants to come to the Premier League
02:34and he's turned Galatasaray down. So now let's go Gomez vibes. I know exactly, exactly, exactly
02:40that. Um, now let's not count our chickens just yet. He needs to sign the contracts. He needs to
02:45arrive in Wolverhampton and needs to be done and dusted, but provided there's no, uh, no issues,
02:50no late changes of heart, no, um, yeah, exactly. In the, uh, thrown into the mix. Um, he should
02:58be a Wolves player by tonight. Um, he wants Wolves. He wants to join Wolves. He's turned
03:03down Galatasaray and that's the kind of character and player that we'll need. Um, and hopefully it
03:08will all be sorted pretty quickly. Fantastic. So that's, that's great news in terms of,
03:13in terms of him, look, in terms of position wise, what, what we're thinking, we're thinking
03:16coming in as a starter or is it's going to be supplementing the squad as it is at this moment?
03:20Yeah. It'd be really interesting to, to see how he does fit in. Cause as I say, at 22,
03:24he sort of fits the transfer model of what Wolves want. Um, and rest of our greater Cologne playing
03:30the champions league, but the Serbian league is very different to the Premier League. So,
03:34there is going to be an adaptation period as well, but Wolves will be wanting some
03:40athletic, quick, strong players to come in and challenge for this team. And I think he's
03:44going to have to challenge to, to try and get in as soon as he possibly can. Um, I suspect
03:49he won't get in instantly. Um, and there'll be a player that will be competing, but, um,
03:53they wanted to address the sense of that situation and put another player in, um, or hopefully
03:57provide it all goes well. And, um, and he'll add some competition. And as I say, he, uh,
04:01he can play on the left. He has played there before, but for the vast majority of his time,
04:06particularly this season, he's been on the right, um, of a, of a back four, I think for the most
04:11time and about, uh, playing for Belgrade. So he should fit pretty seamlessly into the system
04:15that Wolves want. Um, and they've got an extra option to bolster the defence.
04:32The midfielder, we said one, potentially two, it looks like hopefully
04:35it could get two over the line here, Liam. Yeah, this one will be developing and slightly more
04:40complicated, um, which I will explain. So, um, there's been a few reports about 20 million euro
04:46fee. I understand it as an 18 million euro fee, uh, has been agreed in principle for Marshall
04:52Munetzi, a fantastic name, by the way, um, uh, Zimbabwean, uh, midfielder defensive midfielder,
04:59strong athletic, exactly what said that he wants. Um, so he seems to fit that more perfectly
05:05at 28 years old. He's a bit more experienced as well as had five seasons over in,
05:09uh, in France. He was Agbado's teammates at, uh, I'll let you pronounce it again.
05:15Um, there you go. Look at that pronunciation. I would do his teammate there. He's done very
05:20well over in France for the last few seasons. And, um, and what was 80 million euros is roughly
05:25about 50 million pounds as well, just to make it clear. Um, and we're also looking to get that one
05:29over the line, but as far as we understand it, the French club also want to try and bring a
05:34replacement in. So that one hangs in the balance a little bit at the moment as of recording this
05:37video. But as we say all along, and I'll reiterate again, now these things move quickly. So, um, we
05:44will be bringing all the latest on expresses our.com on both our Twitter accounts. So hopefully
05:49this video will be bang up today once it's released, but at the same time, keep an eye on
05:53Twitter because, uh, or X now as it's called, uh, because things will be moving quicker as well.
05:57And we will be updating there, but as it stands, wolves are working to bring that in as well. And
06:01there is a fee agreed. Um, and hopefully that'll be those two players over the line in terms of
06:06squad, in terms of homegrown plays, in terms of what you can and can't have werewolves at this
06:10moment in time, if these two players do come in. Yes, really, really important points. Um, as it
06:15stands right now, uh, in this safe assumption that Agbado will take Mosquera's place with his season
06:21ending injury was currently have no more space available for non homegrown players. Uh, they have
06:27two spaces for homegrown after Luke Cundall being sold, but no spaces for non homegrown players.
06:32So with these two coming in, provided they both signed on the dotted line today, we'll have to
06:37make two spaces available to them. Now, one of them would be, you would imagine a pretty easy
06:43one to do. I don't think the player would be too happy about it, but Sasha collages could
06:46come off that squad. He's not quite ready to be playing yet. Um, I'm sure he would like to come
06:51back and get some minutes, but walls may have no choice, but to take him out. Um, that's something
06:54they're going to have to consider. And then they need to bring or take one of the player off it as
06:59well. If they are going to bring this, these signings in, um, now it's, it's, it's all good.
07:04And while having, I don't know, a Dawson or Doyle potentially go out somewhere, but that doesn't
07:08open up a non homegrown space. So you're probably looking now at Mario Lamina moving on still. So we
07:15had reported the last couple of days that was becoming more unlikely, um, that he would go
07:19anywhere more likely. We'd end up staying because of the Saudi window closing. We do know there is
07:23interest from Turkey, um, and Galatasaray in particular, ironically, and that window is open
07:33for about a week or so after, um, the, the English window closes, we'll have a week or so as well to
07:38register the squad with the premier league after window closes. So the club won't be sort of
07:44rushing it and desperate to get it over the line, but they must have some indication that they're
07:47going to have a movement with someone. Otherwise they're having to leave a first team player out of
07:51the premier league squad. And that's something they would like to avoid. So it's likely to be
07:55Lamina more than anyone else, but I think it's worth keeping a little eye on someone like
07:58Bucatiori as well. He almost went on loan in August before his injury. They may try and work
08:04something with him today. If they know they're going to get Manetti over the line equally, he
08:08couldn't go to Turkey himself at some point on loan, um, after today. So provided they get these
08:14both, both these players over the line, they will have to make movement with at least one player.
08:18Um, and it's something they're probably going to have to seriously consider.
08:21Yeah. It'll be interesting as well. Like you say, there'll be still two homegrown spots available.
08:25You know, if they wanted to add to it, we, we talked about adding a midfielder, adding two
08:28midfielders, Mario Lamina left. So, you know, we talked about Josh Brownhill last night. You'd
08:33have thought that it'd probably be these two, but that there is space to add someone like
08:36a Brownhill who would be homegrown on, on the other side of things. Like you said,
08:40you mentioned them both earlier, um, Tommy Doyle and, and Craig Dawson,
08:45both players will be disappointed in their usage so far under Pereira.
08:48And they might just want to stick with what they've got and, and have that squad because
08:53they've got to preserve the Premier League state and you don't know what's going to happen.
08:56Two, three, four injuries and all of a sudden these guys could be starters. But at the same
08:59time, they will be disappointed with their, their lack of use so far and, and potentially
09:04maybe something that could happen maybe later on, but that's, there's no guarantees on that.
09:08Yeah. As it stands at the moment, we're expecting these two signs to probably be it for Wolves
09:12today, but I think we'll obviously keep a watching brief on that as things develop.
09:16But you are right. They could, in theory, bring in one or two homegrown players that
09:20they wanted to as well. Um, but then you have the issue as well of depending on if a midfielder
09:25does move out, whether it's trying to worry or Lamina, what happens with Doyle? He'll be
09:29desperate to play. There's been clubs interested in taking him on loan. That is something that
09:32could happen depending on the futures of the other players, but it doesn't also, uh, solve
09:37the problem of the homegrown and non-homegrown issue for Wolves as well. So it's something
09:40they've got to consider. Um, and with Dawson, it'd be a really interesting one because he
09:44has only got six months left in his contract. So the easy decision is he stays because it
09:48doesn't solve that problem with the squad anyway. Um, and he can stick around for six
09:52months, but at the same time, I'm sure he'd be desperate to play. So something I think
09:55is again, worth keeping an eye on. Well, something we'll be trying to update on, um, as the,
09:59as the hours progressed today. And then of course, Carlos Forbes, um, Ajax wanting back
10:05or negotiating to get the cash and send him back.
10:07But Petal prayer was public and saying he wants a replacement and that seems unlikely
10:11as it stands. So it was, uh, unable to do that. It seems like he might stick around
10:16as well, but we will be bringing the latest on that as soon as we possibly can.
10:19It all developing. It's going to change very, very quickly. It is deadline day. We are here
10:23to bring you it right up until the window slams shut baby at 11 o'clock. We might even
10:29be in a different location. Maybe we'll be together at some point today. You never know.
10:32It's the unpredictability of deadline day, but what's for certain is that Liam Keane,
10:37Nathan Judah, we'll be bringing you the latest at Wolf straight directly
10:40to a screen near you, baby. We'll see you soon.
