00:00The island of Boracay's cruise tourism continues to thrive.
00:04In fact, the first quarter of 2025 saw six cruise ship arrivals.
00:09According to Niven Makirang, OIC of Port Cruise Ship Operations in Aklan,
00:14the MS Europa landed on the island yesterday.
00:17More cruise ships are expected to arrive this month.
00:21The Norwegian Sky returned on February 17,
00:25while on February 20, the Nordam,
00:28which has 1,900 passengers and 900 crew,
00:32will be followed by the Riviera on February 23
00:36and the Crystal Symphony on February 26.
00:39This January alone, five cruise ship arrivals were scheduled.
00:43Seventeen cruise ships were scheduled to visit Boracay Island this 2025,
00:48which is expected to help tourism in Aklan.
