00:45Unnamed Venom Game
00:59The data leak that revealed Insomniac's plans for future Marvel games did immense
01:03damage to all parties involved.
01:05So much so we're still feeling the effects.
01:14However, as a result, it did showcase that there were indeed plans for a game centred
01:18around Spider-Man's greatest foe.
01:21And since there's been no word of any kind of cancellation, we can't help but be excited
01:25by it.
01:26Do we get to choose between being a lethal protector or a brain-munching monster?
01:30Is this the same Venom from Spider-Man 2?
01:32Or has Eddie Brock's day finally arrived?
01:35Hopefully it won't be long before we find out.
01:42Unnamed Black Panther Game
01:55The King of Wakanda has certainly been getting a lot of love in the gaming scene as of late.
01:59And that trend looks to continue in his own narrative action game, courtesy of EA.
02:04What do we know about it so far?
02:06Very very little, other than it's going to be a story-driven fight-fest within a
02:10Wakandan-sized sandbox, being developed by the group whose talents help shape the likes
02:14of Middle-Earth's Shadow of Mordor and God of War.
02:17So long as it doesn't fall into the trappings of a certain other infamous EA Marvel game,
02:22we're quietly confident that this kitty does indeed have claws.
02:32Marvel's Blade
02:43Seems that Marvel was tired of ice-skating uphill, and finally decided to give us a game
02:47featuring the Daywalker.
02:48From the trailer reveal alone, it's clear that this is going to be a game with as much
02:52style as there will be blood.
02:54Best of all, it's being handled by Arkane Leon, who gave us, among other things, the
02:58exceptional Dishonored franchise.
03:01Granted, the last time an Arkane studio handled a video game centred around vampires, we got
03:06Redfall.
03:07Though we sincerely doubt history will repeat itself on that front.
03:11Get us to Paris pronto, we've got vamps to slice apart!
03:22Marvel's Spider-Man 3
03:33This couldn't be more obvious.
03:34Insomniac's take on the iconic wall-crawler is often touted as the best incarnation of
03:39the character across all of gaming, and it's not hard to see why.
03:43The first game was a rousing success across the board.
03:46It helped make Miles Morales even more of a household name, and despite some stumbles,
03:51its sequel was just as successful.
04:00It's no surprise that people are hyped for the upcoming prequel.
04:03All we know is that the scope is meant to be grander, it's stakes higher, and we're
04:07likely going to have Cindy Moon, aka Silk, as a playable Spider-Woman.
04:12Let's let this trilogy end on the highest of notes.
04:23Marvel's Wolverine
04:31Canada's most infamous mutant is beloved the world over, and now he's finally getting
04:36the high-octane, visceral video game adaptation he deserves.
04:56Once again brought to us by Insomniac, this version of Wolverine promises to bring the
05:00brutality and the tragedy, which is all we can really ask for.
05:04Logan is the best at what he does, whether it's ripping apart some unlucky bub with
05:08adamantium claws, or dealing with the loneliness of living for so long.
05:12It's all ripe for Insomniac's brand of storytelling, and it cannot get here soon
05:16enough.
05:17Marvel's Iron Man
05:25When it comes to headlining his own games, Tony Stark has had a rough time of it.
05:30Which is a shame because Iron Man is the ideal archetype when it comes to sci-fi action
05:34and adventure.
05:35Hence our optimism for Motive Studios' take on the character, the developers who helped
05:40bring the exquisite Dead Space remake to life.
05:43So they certainly know their stuff when it comes to making high-tech armour look damn
05:46good and sci-fi combat feel seamless.
05:49Whatever inspiration they can take from Isaac Clarke's ordeal, we hope it can translate
05:53into making us feel like the Armored Avenger.
05:56Please, please, PLEASE nail the flying mechanics.
06:12Marvel 1943 Rise of Hydra
06:23This thing came out of nowhere, and now we're counting down the days until its arrival.
06:27Brought to us by industry veteran Amy Hennig, famous for the creation of the Uncharted franchise,
06:33Marvel 1943 sees us play as both Captain America and Black Panther in the midst of World War
06:382.
06:48Everything we've seen so far looks spectacular.
06:51The visuals, the environment, it's an out-of-time action-adventure that looks to explore the
06:56differences and dualities of two beloved Marvel icons.
07:00Also, Kari Payton is an inspired choice to play as Zuri, aka T'Challa's grandfather
07:05and the Black Panther of old.
07:07Put up your dukes and unsheathe your claws because this looks like it could be something
07:11special.
