A review of Italian ski resort Bardonecchia.
Bardonecchia is an Italian town and comune located in the Metropolitan City of Turin, in the Piedmont region, in the western part of Susa Valley. It grew out of a small village with the works for the Fréjus Rail Tunnel, the first crossing the Alps. The town hosted the snowboarding events of the 2006 Winter Olympics

00:00Well here I am in Bardonecchia. It's described as the pearl of the resorts in
00:07the region and it is a pearl. There's some beautiful architecture here but
00:12more importantly for the British it's got fantastic connectivity up and down
00:18the valley from Bardonecchia right through to Mesolet and there's acres
00:23and lots of skiing and the accommodation is varied and you can just
00:29find whatever you want. Of course Bardonecchia is perfect for the holiday
00:34skier like me. You can get plenty of good restaurants and lots of easy access to
00:40ski rental and everybody is very very friendly.
