00:00I guess you could call this a conference rivalry than the SEC, but really it's more individual
00:07as Big Blue Nation gets ready to welcome back John Calipari, making his first return to
00:14Lexington tomorrow, spent 15 years, of course, as the head coach of Kentucky, won a national
00:20championship in the 2011-2012 college basketball campaign, made a Final Four in four of his
00:27first six years there, but of course the relationship started to sour in the last half decade, not
00:33even a Sweet 16 appearance for the Cats in Cal's final five years.
00:39You see the spread there.
00:41Kentucky's a much better basketball team than Arkansas.
00:45The Hogs have struggled in SEC play.
00:47The Cats an 11.5, now 10.5 point favorite, but you know a game is a marquee matchup when
00:53on a Friday morning you have odds for a Saturday afternoon in college hoops.
01:01Joe, we'll dive into the numbers in the matchup in just a second.
01:05What do you think Rupp Arena's welcome will be for John Calipari tomorrow?
01:10Well, I can tell you what Calipari thinks it's going to be, and he doesn't think it's
01:17going to be a pleasant one.
01:18In fact, I think he was quoted this week as saying, yeah, I fully anticipate getting
01:23booed at Rupp Arena, which is kind of crazy when you think about it, Ben, right?
01:29Like they're faulting Calipari, and listen, he was the one who invented the whole one
01:35and done.
01:36Kids wanted to come to Kentucky and play for him on their way to the NBA.
01:40It started with him, so unfortunately it hasn't worked out all that well now that he's over
01:46in Arkansas, but I think they'll be a little more forgiving with Calipari in the building
01:53here than he thinks.
01:54I think he's anticipating the worst.
