00:08are being put up for sale as going concerns.
00:11Business and commercial property sales agent Ernest Wilson,
00:14part of the Edison's group of companies, has been appointed to sell the homes.
00:18The eight nursing and residential care homes being put up for sale include
00:22Castle Court in Swaddling Coat, Thomas College House in Bolsover,
00:27The Grange at Ekington, Briarclose in Borrowosh,
00:31New Bassett House in Shirebrook, Rowthorne Home in Alfredton,
00:35The Lees in Ashbourne and Nottingham's Lacemaker Court in Long Eaton.
00:40A spokesperson for Ernest Wilson said,
00:43Residents and their families were naturally concerned about the threat of closure for these eight care homes.
00:49By selling them as going concerns to experienced and outstanding care home operators,
00:54the Council is firmly placing the emphasis on the continued and uninterrupted excellent care
00:59of current and future residents.
