00:05One of the city's most famous landmarks, the London Eye is a giant ferris wheel, located
00:10on the south bank of the River Thames. Standing at 135 metres tall, it was completed in 2000
00:16and was once the world's tallest observation wheel.
00:19The Eye offers breathtaking 360 degree views of London, including iconic landmarks like
00:25Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. Each of its glass-enclosed capsules
00:30provide a smooth 30 minute rotation, allowing visitors to take in the city from different

00:36As one of the most popular attractions in London, it draws millions of visitors each

00:41The nearest tube stations are Waterloo on the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Northern and Waterloo
00:45in City lines, and Westminster on the Jubilee, District and Circle lines.
