00:00According to those who are having dinner, the meat left in a burned cold storage facility in Quezon City is now smelly and rotting.

00:11Even the nearest barangays can smell the rotten smell.

00:15And Maki Pulido was able to detect it.

00:18Even though the fire is raging when this cold storage facility was burned in Barangay Del Monte, Quezon City on January 20,

00:27many of the frozen meat products that were in the freezer were not burned.

00:32That's why those were rotted and rotten for two days since it was burned.

00:36In other barangays, it depends on the breath of the air.

00:40We thought it was the smell of blood. We thought it was the smell of dead blood.

00:43Nineta, who lives in Barangay Paraiso, is two kilometers away from the burned cold storage facility.

00:50It still smells even though there's a mask.

00:52Because of the smell, they can't eat properly and sleep soundly.

00:57We have a headache. We can't sleep properly. We haven't slept properly for several days because of the smell.

01:02Five out of ten freezers are still full of rotting meat.

01:06To speed up the process, Quezon City Hall is already helping.

01:09It is monitoring the disinfection and cleaning of the area.

01:13The City Hall also issued a Notice of Violation to the owner of the facility, which is a private corporation.

01:19Our hope is that within five days, the affected meat will be completely removed.

01:31Now, they are putting disinfectants to mitigate the smell.

01:40According to the air quality testing of Quezon City LGU, the air is also safe. It just smells bad.

01:46There are no toxic particles or cause for health concern in the air quality of the area.
